Giive.ai ("Giive," "we," "us," or "our") operates a zero-fee fundraising platform for nonprofit organizations. We are committed to protecting the privacy of nonprofit organizations ("Organizations"), donors ("Donors"), and visitors who use our platform at giive.ai.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights regarding your data. By using Giive, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

From Nonprofit Organizations:

• Organization name, contact email, and account credentials
• Stripe Connect account information for payment processing
• Event details including titles, descriptions, dates, locations, and cover images
• Ticket tier information including pricing and availability

From Donors:

• Name, email address, phone number, and billing address (collected by Stripe at checkout)
• Employer name (voluntarily provided for corporate matching purposes)
• Payment information (processed and stored securely by Stripe — we never store full card numbers)
• Optional tip amount chosen at checkout

Automatically Collected:

• Browser type, IP address, and device information
• Pages visited and actions taken on our platform
• Cookies and similar tracking technologies

3. How We Use Your Information

• To process ticket purchases and donations via Stripe
• To send transaction confirmation emails and tax receipts
• To identify potential employer matching opportunities based on donor-provided employer information
• To provide nonprofit organizations with donor management and reporting tools
• To improve and maintain our platform
• To comply with legal obligations
• To communicate platform updates and service-related notices

4. How We Share Your Information

With Nonprofit Organizations:

When you purchase a ticket or make a donation through Giive, the nonprofit organization hosting that event receives your name, email address, phone number, billing address, employer name, and ticket/donation details. This information is provided to help nonprofits manage their events and communicate with supporters.

With Stripe:

All payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc. Stripe collects and processes your payment information in accordance with their Privacy Policy at stripe.com/privacy. Giive does not store your full payment card information.

With Service Providers:

We may share data with trusted third-party providers who assist in operating our platform, including email delivery services, cloud hosting (Google Firebase), and analytics tools. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data.

We do not:

• Sell your personal information to third parties
• Share your data with advertisers
• Use donor data to solicit donations on behalf of other organizations

5. Optional Donor Tips

Giive sustains itself through optional tips from donors at checkout. These tips are entirely voluntary — donors may choose 8.25%, 20%, 40%, a custom amount, or $0. Choosing not to tip does not affect the nonprofit's receipt of funds. Tip amounts are not shared with the nonprofit organization.

6. Employer Matching Data

If you voluntarily provide your employer name at checkout, we use this information solely to identify potential corporate matching gift opportunities and communicate them to you. Employer information is shared with the nonprofit you are supporting so they may follow up on matching opportunities. We maintain a database of employer matching programs for this purpose.

7. Data Retention

We retain transaction records and donor information for a minimum of 7 years to support tax receipt issuance and legal compliance. Nonprofit organizations may export or delete their donor data at any time from their dashboard. You may request deletion of your personal data by contacting us at privacy@giive.ai, subject to legal retention requirements.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data
• Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data
• Portability: Request your data in a portable format
• Opt-out: Opt out of non-essential communications

9. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), secure cloud infrastructure via Google Firebase, and access controls. Payment data is handled exclusively by Stripe, which maintains PCI DSS compliance. 10. Children's Privacy

Giive is not intended for use by individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at privacy@giive.ai.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered organizations via email of material changes. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
